“And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all." Act 4:33
What is today? It's Easter!! So was yesterday and the day before. Since before March 31st, the day we called Easter this year; God has been speaking to me about the resurrection.
The sad truth is that when the eggs are all gone and the new dress is no longer new, we don't give much thought to the resurrection. We quickly begin to talk about Mother's Day or graduation or whatever big event is next in the calendar year. But in fact we should celebrate the resurrection every day.
The passage says they gave witness (implied daily) to the resurrection. Paul tells us we are to die daily. Jesus said take up our cross daily. If we are to die daily then we are to likewise walk in the power of the resurrection daily.
